Hey guys,

To start off we would like to give a very big thanks to everyone that has competed in this seasons Sublime, we hope you enjoyed it and look forward to see you return for the next one. We’ve had our ups and downs with new admins coming into the fray, EAC not working and other various assortments that have been out of our control but due to your co-operation we’ve been able to have a somewhat smooth season and again we at Sublime thank you for your patience. Without further adieu we can now announce the Sublime Invite and Amateur winners.

Sublime MWave Invite

1st – Tenacious.EXO

2nd – Overpowered

3rd – KERS

Sublime TteSports Amateur

1st – Overzealous (formerly MALICE)

2nd – Decibel.Streamline

3rd – Conspiracy

In what was a rather competitive season the 3rd place consolation match would be between KERS and Impervious who although were meant to play each other during the group stages had the match forfeited to KERS. With the match being hotly contested right from the beginning it was Impervious who came away with the first map but KERS were able to take out the next two with an identical score to the first map giving KERS a 2-1 win with the scores being 13-16 (Inferno), 16-13 (Dust2), 16-13 (Tuscan).

Meanwhile the invite final saw the two undefeated teams in Overpowered and Tenacious square off in the Grand Final but it was Tenacious who came out to strong winning in two maps coming back from a 14-8 deficit to turn it around stealing the win 16-14 (Tuscan) and then winning the second map rather comfortably 16-8 (Train).

Now with the invite finals down we turn our attention to the amateur finals that were nothing short of amazing. In the Consolation final for 3rd place it was Conspiracy who came out on top in two maps breezing through the first 16-6 (Inferno) before closing it out in a much tighter encounter 16-13 (Train).

As for the Grand Final well you had to be there to see the three-and-a-half hour blockbuster which saw overzealous edge out Decibel in three maps 16-19 (Train), 16-14 (Inferno) and 19-15 (Tuscan). The match had everything from 20 bombs, suspect bomb plants to vanG’s almost 1v5 only to fall short on the last guy and it is in my opinion easily the best BO3 series of the entire season so please go check it out. You can find all the finals demos here http://www.sublime.eminencegaming.com.au/

Now I know what you are all thinking. No one cares about the winners (if you played in the finals) and would rather know who got the Most Valuable Player award. Well without keeping you waiting the MVP’s for Invite and Amateur were:

Sublime MWave Invite – petemc

Sublime TteSports Amateur – messiN

Congratulations to the following players for a stellar finals performance. There were a number of players in both finals that were considered for the MVP prizes, however we felt that these particular players had the biggest impact in the overall finals match. Could all team captains and MVP’s please send their information to Nateus either via a PM on the Sublime website or you can email him at sublimepcgear@live.com to collect your prizes.

We are sorry about the delay in prizes, but due to the dispute in the grand final we preferred to give all the prizes out at the one time (and not have Nate have to go to the post office 3-4 times for every individual team).

The information required is as follows..

Captains full name
Email Address
Actual Address
Direct Deposit or Paypal Details (bare in mind paypal incurs a small  fee which sublime will not be liable for)
Any further requests list here

Finally thanks to our sponsors at Thermaltake, MWave, ASUS and Axel over at eminence for providing us with great servers and prizes. It definitely would not have been possible to run this season without you guys so once again a HUGE thank you so go check out their websites for all your gaming needs.

Well that’s it for now so from the Sublime administration team and we look forward to running Season 3.

Hello Sublime Gaming Community

Just a quick message to update everyone on whats currently going on.

There has been a dispute in the TteSports Amateur League Grand Final and we currently have our A/C Panel onto it.

It was a extremely close grand final with the match taking 3-4 hours with all maps going to 30 rounds including a overtime on the 3rd map (the decider)

Due to the length of the game and the dispute its taken us some time in getting a result for the Grand Final Winner.

Please be patient with us and we will have it resolved ASAP!

As for Sublime MWAVE invite league, winners were Tenacious with Overpowered coming in as the Runners up.

We will be announcing later this week MVP awards for both Grand Finals and also the overall standings for both leagues in a post season wrapup.

I would like all captains of the teams who placed 1st , 2nd , 3rd to contact me (or ASUKA/HYPER) over the next few days for further instructions.

We do realise there were a few hiccups throughout the season , however we appreciate everyone\'s patience and assistance into our first season of counterstrike for AMATEUR leagues. We would appreciate any form of feedback (positive/constructive) that you can give us so we can make future competitions a success.

Thanks to all our sponsors this season

Also, just spoken to the owners, hes chucking in a $100 first place to the winners of the CSS competition that Nateus will be running Friday night around 10pm - it will be a draft LAN so captains will get to pick players at the event who sign up for the competition , this way the best players dont play with the other best players and it gets mixed up (hence fair competition). Otherwise feel free to play in our other games !

After setting up the finals format for Amateur, we realised it was a bit somewhat weird to have different systems for both Invite and Amateur. So we have decided to use the same AFL type system for both Invite AND Amateur.
